Mogadishu(SONNA)-Somali National Army backed by Galmudug State forces killed 200 Al-Shabaab militants in an going military operation in Mudug region, SONNA reported.
SNA Infantry Commander, Mohamed Tahlil Bihi said the joint forces liberated southern parts of Mudug region from the terrorists.
“We killed 200 Al-Shabaab militants and destroyed 16 bases from the terrorists during operation “, Mr. Bihi said.
He added that the forces captured 4 towns and 8 villages during the operation, noting that their next destination is Harar-dhere in the same.
