Mogadishu(SONNA)-Somali Police Force has on Sunday marked 77th anniversary of its founding and shared congratulations and best wishes through different ways as though the annual celebration of the establishment of such occasion was not held due to COVID-19, SONNA reported.
The Acting President and Speaker of the Federal Parliament, Mohamed Mursal Abdirahman, Prime Minister, Mohamed Hussein Roble and Commissioner of Police Force, Gen Abdi Hassan Mohamed congratulated the Police Force on 77th anniversary of its foundation, and wished them prosperous year.
The Police was founded in December 20, 1943 and they are the oldest forces of the Somali Army.
