WASHINGTON (SONNA) – The Finance Minister of Somalia, H.E. Abdirahman Duale Beyle, met with the World Bank’s Executive Director Kristalina Georgieva in Washington today.
The Minister spoke with the media about the meeting with the World Bank Director General Kristalina Georgieva and described as “very crucial” for the debt relief process.
“I thank the International Monetary Fund for their massive efforts in the process of Somali debt relief.” said Minister Bayle.
He added “I proudly assure to the world and IMF Board that Somali Government is highly committed to every step of improving the Somali economy.”
