50 Al-Shabaab terrorist militants killed in a joint operation

Mogadishu(SONNA)-Somali National Army has killed over 50 Al-Shabaab terrorist militants and injured after carrying out offensive operation at area about 40 KM to Harardhere town in Mudug region under Galmudug State today, Wednesday.

Mohamed Tahlil Bihi, SNA’s Infantry Commander told Somali National News Agency that International Partners supported SNA to weaken terrorists fleeing from the region, saying the joint forces destroyed vehicles and weapons en route.

The Army with the support from locals and International Partners also killed 39 terrorist fighters of Al-Shabaab after conducting operations several areas near Harardhere town in Mudug region a day before. This shows how the militants are facing heavy casualties and loss of areas under their control in more than 15 years.
