Mogadishu(SONNA)– State Minister of Foreign Affairs H.E. Ali Omar chaired a meeting to align the Ministry’s objectives with Somalia’s National Transformational Plan (2025-2029). Key officials, including Permanent Secretary Hamza Adan Haadow and Ministry Directors, attended the session, focusing on diplomatic priorities and strengthening international partnerships.
NTP (2025-2029) is Somalia’s roadmap for socio-economic growth and governance reform and aims to bolster regional stability, economic integration, and global influence. The meeting emphasized enhancing diplomatic goals through regional cooperation, diaspora engagement, and investment attraction.
The Ministry’s Director of International Cooperation, Jibril Afyare, outlined initiatives aligning with the Plan, and the Director of Legal Affairs, Mahad Mohamed, addressed issues related to enhancing diplomatic partnerships.
