Mogadishu, (SONNA) – The Speaker of the House of the People of the Federal Parliament of Somalia, H.E. Sheikh Adan Mohamed Nur (Madobe), has extended heartfelt congratulations to all ranks of the Somali National Army (SNA) and their families on the occasion of the 65th anniversary of the Army’s establishment.
Speaker Sheikh Adan Madobe emphasized the vital role the Somali National Army plays in upholding the sovereignty and continuity of the Somali state. He commended the unwavering efforts of the armed forces in eliminating threats posed by groups opposing Somalia’s stability and governance.
The Speaker concluded his message by praying for the fallen heroes of the SNA, asking Allah to grant them eternal mercy in paradise, and wished a speedy recovery for the wounded. He further praised the continuous sacrifice and dedication of the Army in the ongoing fight to eradicate Al-Shabaab militants from the country.
