Mogadishu, (SONNA) – The Speaker of the Lower House of the Federal Republic of Somalia, H.E Sheikh Adan Mohamed Nur (Madobe) today chaired the 24th meeting of the Standing Committee of the Parliament, which discussed the re-opening of the Assembly meetings and the presentation of copies and the agenda of the remaining meetings of the third session.
The meeting which was attended by the deputy chairmen of the House and all the members of the Standing Committee discussed the issues of accountability of various government agencies, the review of the Interim Constitution and the agreement of the National Consultation Forum submitted to the Council by the Cabinet.
It was agreed that a special committee of the standing committee should be appointed, which will consider the decision or the agreement reached by the National Consultative Council and immediately return their report to the Committee.
