Algiers, (SONNA) — The Speaker of the House of the People of the Federal Parliament of Somalia, H.E. Sheikh Adan Mohamed Nur (Madobe), is representing Somalia at the Arab Parliamentary Speakers Conference, which officially opened today in the Algerian capital, Algiers.
This year’s summit brings together parliamentary leaders from across the Arab world to deliberate on pressing regional issues, with a particular focus on the situation in Palestine.
Speaker Sheikh Adan Mohamed Nur is expected to deliver a comprehensive address highlighting Somalia’s perspective on the summit’s agenda and emphasizing the country’s active role within the Arab parliamentary framework.
During his stay in Algeria, Speaker Madobe will hold meetings with senior Algerian officials and engage in bilateral discussions with other parliamentary leaders aimed at strengthening ties between the Somali Parliament and its Arab counterparts.
