Mogadishu, Somalia – The Standing Committee of the House of People of the Federal Republic of Somalia convened at their headquarters in Villa Hargeysa today for a meeting chaired by the Speaker of the House, His Excellency Sheikh Aden Mohamed Nur (Madoobe).
During the session, Speaker Sheikh Aden Mohamed Nur (Madoobe) provided the committee members with an update on the ongoing activities of the House. A key focus of his briefing was the important legislation that the House is expected to address in the remaining period of its current sixth session.
Following the Speaker’s remarks, the Standing Committee members received detailed reports from each of the House committees regarding pending laws and procedural matters. The meeting concluded with the establishment of an agenda and schedule outlining the priorities of the House for the upcoming week.
