Mogadishu(SONNA)-Somalia’s Southwest State electoral team on Sunday expected to hold election of 5 seats for House of the People of the Federal Parliament in Baidoa town, the interim administrate capital of the State, SONNA reported.
Yesterday, the electoral team released list of 13 seat for the House of People elections which will be held in Barawe town in lower Shabelle region, the second electoral district for the state.
Regional States are speeding up holding the elections as agreed to conclude by February 25th, 2022.
Close 100 members of the Federal Parliament were elected to House of the People so far.
