Somalia’s President Convenes First High-Level National Economic Council Meeting

Mogadishu, SONNA)-: President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud recently convened the first high-level National Economic Council meeting.

During the meeting, the Council endorsed Centennial Vision 2060 as the national development blueprint. The importance of expediting post-HIPC plans was also emphasized by the Council.
