Oslo, (SONNA) –Hussein Moallim, National Security Adviser to the President of Somalia, H.E. Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, held key bilateral meetings at the 2025 Oslo Forum with senior international officials, including Peter Lord, U.S. Senior Advisor for Sudan, and Norway’s State Secretary for Foreign Affairs, Andreas Kravik.
The discussions focused on sustainable solutions to regional instability, counterterrorism efforts, strengthening state institutions, and enhancing peacebuilding cooperation across the Horn of Africa. Moallim underscored Somalia’s commitment to leading regional security initiatives, stressing that genuine partnership is essential for peace and progress.
Somalia continues to position itself as a proactive player in regional stability, leveraging platforms like the Oslo Forum to advance collaborative responses to the security and governance challenges facing the region.
