Mogadishu, (SONNA) – The Federal Government of Somalia and the United Nations successfully convened the Joint Steering Committee (JSC) annual meeting for the UN Sustainable Development Cooperation Framework for Somalia (2021-2025) to discuss the UN’s collective results in 2023 & work plans for 2024.
The meeting was co-chaired by the Minister Planning, Investment and Economic Development of the Federal Government of Somalia, H.E. Mohamud Beenebeene, and the UN DSRSG/RC/HC, Mr. George Conway and brought together officials from key government ministries and the UN Result Groups on the strategic priorities of the UN Cooperation Framework.
