Mogadishu, (SONNA) – The Director General of the Somali Civil Aviation Authority (SCAA), H.E . Ahmed Macallin Hassan has announced a new step taken by Somalia towards aviation development.
The Director made the announcement while providing an update to experts from the East African Community’s Civil Aviation Safety and Security Oversight Agency (EAC-CASSOA).
The officials from EAC-CASSOA are in Mogadishu for over a week with the objective of assessing and evaluating the readiness of the SCAA to undergo an audit by the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO).
