Mogadishu(SONNA)-Somalia has on Saturday celebrated the first day of Eidul-fitri after successful conclusion of the holy month of Ramadan, SONNA reported.
Congratulations, exchanging joyful greetings and Takbir(Allah is great) started as soon as the Government Ministry of Religious Affairs announced midnight that the moon was sighted in many areas in the country including the capital, making Eid today.
President of the Federal Republic of Somalia, H.E. Mohamed Abdullahi Faramajo congratulated people on happy Eid Mubarak, and gave special thanks to front-liners fighting Covid-19 for their bravery and tireless work.
