ANKARA, Türkiye (SONNA)-The Embassy of the Federal Republic of Somalia in Ankara hosted a special ceremony on Wednesday, January 28, 2026, to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Somalia and the Republic of Türkiye.
The event, attended by Somali Ambassador Fathudin Ali (Ospite), highlighted the deep-rooted historical ties and continuous cooperation that have defined the relationship between the two nations for six decades.
The ceremony brought together a distinguished group of attendees, including members of parliament, senior officials from the Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and various officials and diplomats from the Somali Embassy in Ankara.
