Mogadishu — The Director General of the Ministry of Interior, Federal Affairs and Reconciliation, Mr. Abdulkadir Ali, chaired a high-level meeting focused on accelerating the national Peace Education initiative under the National Reconciliation Framework (NRF).
The meeting brought together key government stakeholders, including the Director General of the Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs, the Director General of the National Security Office, the Secretary General of the Higher Education Commission, and other senior officials.
Discussions centered on the critical role of Peace Education in strengthening social cohesion, preventing conflicts, and fostering a stable and peaceful society. Participants emphasized the need for coordinated efforts to effectively implement the initiative.
The meeting concluded with an agreement to establish a Peace Education Steering Committee tasked with guiding, coordinating, and expediting the rollout of this national program.
