Mogadishu, (SONNA) – The Somali National Army and the local forces killed an Al-Shabaab terrorist leader, Saiid Ali Maxa Dhere in a special operation, he was the head of the Ali-Afrah, Hiltiro, Eel-Raydab, and Meexaan areas and also the interim leader of extortion in Budbud area in Galgaduud region.
The army confirmed to the state media that he was the head of taxation for the militia group in Ali-Afrah area in Gal’ad district and was killed in a special operation.
The Somali Army seized an AK47 he was armed with and are in pursuit of his driver who fled the scene with a motor bike.
