Baidoa, (SONNA) – Somali National Army (SNA) forces delivered a decisive blow to Al-Shabaab militants early this morning on the outskirts of Baidoa, the interim capital of South West State.
According to military officials on the ground, the militants launched a pre-dawn assault on the village of Burjeed, located several kilometers east of Baidoa. However, the army had prior intelligence about the attack and was fully prepared to counter it.
