Jannay Abdalle, (SONNA)-: Somali National Army (SNA) has foiled an attack planned by Al-Shabaab terrorists on a military base in Jannay Abdalle, a village in the Lower Juba region of Jubaland state.
Army officials confirmed to SONNA that SNA forces repelled the terrorists and forced them to flee with a large number of casualties. They also said that the SNA forces are in full control of the area and are providing security and stability to the local people.
Jannay Abdalle is one of the areas that the SNA forces have liberated from Al-Shabaab in recent months as part of an ongoing effort to eliminate the terrorist group from Somalia.
