Harardhere, SONNA – The Somali National Army (SNA), in collaboration with the elite Gorgor Commandos, the 21st Division, and local forces, has concluded a meticulously planned three-day operation in the Harardhere district of the Mudug region. The operation targeted areas including Tuulo Haji and Tuulo Adad, with the primary objective of dismantling Khawarij militias and thwarting their terrorist activities.

The operation was launched following credible intelligence reports indicating that the Khawarij militias were plotting attacks in the region. The SNA forces, known for their precision and strategic expertise, conducted targeted strikes on the militants’ gathering points and hideouts, effectively disrupting their plans.

Officers leading the operation reported significant success, stating that the enemy suffered heavy losses during the engagement. A number of Khawarij militants were neutralized, and their hideouts were completely destroyed. The operation marks a critical step in the ongoing efforts to restore peace and stability in the region.

Residents of Harardhere have expressed relief and gratitude for the army’s efforts, praising the operation for its effectiveness in curbing the threat posed by the anti-peace groups. The successful mission underscores the Somali National Army’s growing capability to conduct coordinated and strategic operations against terrorist elements.

This operation is part of the broader campaign by the Somali government to eliminate extremist groups and secure the country’s regions. The SNA’s continued efforts, supported by local forces and international partners, are seen as vital to achieving lasting peace and stability in Somalia.

As the situation in Harardhere stabilizes, authorities are working to ensure the safety of civilians and prevent any resurgence of militant activity. The Somali National Army remains committed to its mission of safeguarding the nation and protecting its citizens from the threat of terrorism.
