Bakool, (SONNA) – The Somali National Army (SNA), particularly brave troops from the 93rd and 96th battalions under the 9th Division of the 60th Sector Command, have carried out a well-coordinated operation targeting the Al-Shabaab militant group in several villages near the southwestern town of Xuddur, the regional capital of Bakool.
The 48-hour operation took place in the villages of Baani, Lafaale, and Abal, where the militants had been using hideouts to plot terrorist activities.
