Mogadishu (SONNA)-Minister of Information, Culture and Tourism of the Federal Republic of Somalia, H.E. Osman Abokar Dubbe on Monday held fruitful discussions with the new Chinese Ambassador to Somalia, H.E Fei Shengchao at the Embassy in Mogadishu, SONNA reported.
The conversation focused on an introduction between the Ministry and Embassy teams, enhancing cooperation and ties between the two great nations, Somalia and China.
“China-Somalia relations are more significant, share culture, trade and people to people exchanges. Chinese Government carried out key projects in Somalia like 900 Km road from Beledweyne town in central Somalia to Burco town northwest Somalia, National Stadium, theater and Benadir hospital”, Somali Minister of Information, Culture and Tourism, Osman Abukar Dubbe said.
The Chinese Ambassador, Fei Shengchao stated that he was very much pleased at having such fruitful conversation with Somali Minister of Information and his team, noting that he would try best in promoting the historic and friendly relations between the two countries.
