Baghdad, SONNA – The Minister of Health and Social Services of Somalia, Dr. Ali Haji Adan, received a warm welcome upon his arrival in Baghdad, Iraq, where he is on a working visit.
Dr. Adan and his delegation were greeted at Baghdad International Airport by his Iraqi counterpart. The visit coincides with the upcoming 61st Session of the Council of Ministers of Health of the Arab League, where Somalia holds an active membership.
During his stay, Dr. Adan is expected to advocate for health development and engage in high-level discussions with health ministers from Arab League member states. The summit will focus on enhancing regional collaboration to address pressing health challenges and promote sustainable solutions.
