BAGHDAD, Iraq – The Minister of Health and Social Welfare of Somalia, Dr. Ali Haji Aden Abubakar, participated in the 61st session of the Arab Health Ministers’ Conference held in Baghdad. The conference brought together health leaders from across the region to discuss critical health issues and develop strategies for improving health services in Arab countries.
During his address, Minister Ali highlighted Somalia’s ongoing efforts to reform and strengthen its health services, particularly focusing on maternal and child health. He emphasized the importance of developing the professional capacity of health workers and enhancing the training and dissemination of health services throughout the country.
Minister Ali also emphasized the significance of international cooperation and continuous support in the health sector, stressing the need for collective efforts among Arab League member states to address common health challenges and promote overall well-being.
The conference provided a platform for Arab health ministers to share best practices, collaborate on regional health initiatives, and forge partnerships aimed at advancing health outcomes in their respective countries.
