Mogadishu, (SONNA) — The Speaker of Somalia’s Upper House, Hon. Abdi Hashi Abdullahi, ministers and members of the Federal Parliament, along with the Governor of Banadir and Mayor of Mogadishu, H.E Mohamed Ahmed Amiir, attended an Iftar dinner hosted at the Embassy of Djibouti in Mogadishu.
Djibouti’s Ambassador to Somalia, Amb. Mohamed Ibrahim Yusuf, expressed his gratitude to Somalia’s top leadership for their continued efforts to strengthen the fraternal ties between the two nations. He also conveyed his best wishes for Somalia’s progress and prosperity.
Speaker Abdi Hashi Abdullahi highlighted Djibouti’s unwavering support for Somalia’s recovery and state-building efforts, underscoring the deep bond between the two countries and the Somali people’s appreciation for Djibouti’s role in Somalia’s journey towards stability.
