Vienna, SONNA – Somalia’s Ambassador to Austria and Switzerland, and Permanent Representative to the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), Amb. Khadra Ahmed Duale, presented her credentials to IAEA Director General Rafael Mariano Grossi in Vienna.
During the ceremony, the strong ties between Somalia and the IAEA were highlighted. Ambassador Duale reaffirmed Somalia’s commitment to deepening cooperation with the Agency, particularly in the peaceful use of nuclear technology for energy, agriculture, and health.
Director General Grossi welcomed Somalia’s active engagement and assured that the IAEA stands ready to support Somalia in harnessing nuclear technology for sustainable development and environmental protection.
