Kuala Lumpur, (SONNA) – The Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Somalia to Malaysia, Ali Mohamed Abukar, has highlighted recent progress in relations and cooperation between Somalia and Malaysia, announcing significant advancements in educational collaboration between the two countries.

Speaking at the election of the new leader of the Somali Students’ Association in Malaysia, held in the capital Kuala Lumpur, Ambassador Abukar commended Somali students in the country, describing them as a positive example for the new generation of Somalis. He noted the role of Malaysian-educated Somali graduates in driving change and development back home.

Malaysia, located in Southeast Asia, is among the preferred destinations for Somali students seeking higher education, many of whom return as skilled professionals contributing to Somalia’s development.
