BELGRADE, (SONNA) — Somalia’s Ambassador to Serbia, H.E. Mohamed Abdullahi Ahmed, accompanied by his Deputy, Mr. Ismail Adan, held a productive working meeting today with Serbia’s State Secretary at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Nikola Stojanović.
The discussions focused on strengthening the long-standing friendship between the Federal Republic of Somalia and the Republic of Serbia. Both sides expressed their commitment to expanding bilateral cooperation, particularly in trade, political expertise exchange, military officer training programs scheduled for this year, and scholarship opportunities for Somali students in Serbia.
Mr. Stojanović thanked Somalia for its consistent political support to Serbia and emphasized the importance of continuing to enhance mutual cooperation in areas of shared interest.
The meeting marks another step forward in the growing partnership between the two nations, highlighting a shared vision for development and diplomatic collaboration.
