Algiers, (SONNA) — The Minister of Commerce and Industry of the Federal Government of Somalia, H.E. Mahamud Ahmed Aden Gesood, held talks with Algeria’s Minister of Domestic Trade and National Market Oversight, H.E. Tayeb Zitouni, during the 4th Intra-African Trade Fair taking place in Algiers from 4–10 September.
Discussions focused on strengthening bilateral relations and exploring new opportunities for economic and trade cooperation between Somalia and Algeria, in the interest of both nations.
The two ministers also exchanged views on ways to deepen collaboration in areas of mutual benefit, particularly through knowledge-sharing and expanding trade exchanges, leveraging the platforms provided by the Intra-African Trade Fair.
