Mogadishu (SONNA) – The Disaster Management authority (SoDMA) held the monthly meeting of the Technical Working Committee on Stabilization Affairs today, chaired by Mr. Mohamud Macallin, the chairman of the agency. The meeting saw attendance from all Directors of the Departments of Relations of the Ministries and various federal government agencies involved in stabilization issues over the past twelve months.
Mr. Mohamud Macallin, the Commissioner of SoDMA, praised the committee’s efforts during the meeting. He emphasized the Somali government’s commitment to unifying media messages and raising awareness in areas liberated from the Khawarij enemy. Mr. Macallin also stressed the importance of having aligned agendas for the government’s media offices to better serve the Somali community.
The meeting shows the vital role of effective communication in advancing stabilization efforts and ensuring cohesive strategies across different sectors of the government.
