Mogadishu, (SONNA) – The Commander of the Somali National Army, General Ibrahim Sheikh Muhidin together with officials arrived in Aden Yabal district in the middle Shabelle region.
The Commander was accompanied by the Director General of the counterterrorism agency, Abdullahi Mohamed Nur, and they were welcomed by MPs from both Houses of the Somali Parliament.
General Muhidin visited the frontlines to inspect the soldiers stationed there and encourage them to continue the fight to liberate the country from the terrorist militants and restore the pride of Somalia.
The Somali National Army are in the completion process of the first phase of the fight against the Al-Shabaab terrorist and the start the second phase as soon as they clear the areas that the enemy still controls in Hishabelle and Galmudug States which is almost over.
