Mogadishu, (SONNA) — Security forces are conducting a clearance operation at the Godka Jilicow facility in Mogadishu after Al-Shabaab militants launched a suicide attack on the National Intelligence and Security Agency (NISA) compound around 4:40 p.m. this afternoon.
The attackers used a vehicle resembling that of security forces to breach the perimeter before being engaged by security personnel. Several of the terrorists were neutralized, and the situation is now under control as forces carry out the final phase of the operation.
