MOGADISHU – Security forces in Galmudug have successfully arrested two individuals suspected of murdering a woman and her children in the Qayib area, according to a report by the Somali National News Agency (SONNA). The operation to capture the suspects was launched following the brutal crime and lasted for nearly 24 hours.
Officials confirmed the arrests to national media, stating that the search is still ongoing for a third suspect believed to be involved in the crime. The swift action by the security forces demonstrates the commitment of the Galmudug authorities to ensuring justice and maintaining security for the local population.
The suspects are currently in custody and will be handed over to the relevant legal authorities for further investigation and prosecution.
