Mogadishu, (SONNA): In a decisive military operation, Puntland forces successfully took over and destroyed ISIS terrorist commands in the Al-Miskaad Mountains, specifically targeting the Al-Barako Command, the Digale Command, and all bases under Hadi-dharin and Hadi-xanaan in the Bari Region.
The operation led to the destruction of significant military equipment, including fuel, explosives, and vehicle tempering facilities. Offices used by senior members of the terrorist group were also dismantled. Among the items found at the site was a Saudi passport belonging to one of the ISIS members who had fled.
This strategic victory marks a critical step in Puntland’s ongoing efforts to eradicate ISIS presence in the region. The Puntland forces’ success in this operation underscores their commitment to maintaining security and stability in the area.
