Jeddah, (SONNA) — Saudi Arabia has reaffirmed its strong opposition to any attempts to establish parallel institutions or administrations that threaten the unity and territorial integrity of the Federal Republic of Somalia.
The position was emphasized during a meeting of the Saudi Council of Ministers chaired by King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, where the Kingdom rejected any form of division or actions that undermine Somalia’s sovereignty and statehood.
The Kingdom also welcomed what it described as courageous decisions by the League of Arab States and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, which reaffirm full support for Somalia’s unity, sovereignty, and territorial integrity.
