Mogadishu, Somalia – The Prime Minister of the Federal Government of Somalia, Mr. Hamza Abdi Barre, made a heartfelt visit last night to wounded members of the National Defense Forces and local residents injured in the ongoing fight against Khawarij groups. The visit took place at the National Defense Forces Hospital and Erdogan Hospital (formerly Digfeer Hospital) in Mogadishu.

Prime Minister Hamza personally visited each of the wounded, inquiring about their health conditions and offering prayers for their swift recovery. He praised their bravery and sacrifices in defending the nation and combating terrorist groups that threaten Somalia’s peace and stability.

During his visit, the Prime Minister reiterated the government’s support for the armed forces and local communities engaged in the fight against terrorism. Quoting the teachings of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), he stated, “The one who kills the Khawarij or is killed by them wins. They are a group that has misunderstood religion. We are committed to eradicating these groups and restoring peace to our nation.”

Prime Minister Hamza emphasized the need for modern medical facilities to rehabilitate wounded soldiers and civilians, highlighting the government’s efforts to improve healthcare services amid the ongoing conflict. “Our country is in a tough fight against groups that oppose peace and stability. Soon, your sacrifices will be rewarded with lasting peace,” he assured.

The Prime Minister also reaffirmed the government’s dedication to supporting the heroes who risk their lives for the nation. “The Somali government stands by the brave men and women who sacrifice for their religion, people, and country. Together, we will eradicate these terrorists who seek to shed the blood of innocent Somalis,” he declared.
