Mogadishu, (SONNA) – The President of the Federal Republic of Somalia, H.E Hassan Sheikh Mohamud saluted the units of the Somali National Army to commemorate the 64th anniversary of independence of Somalia which is on the 1st of July.
During the grand ceremony at Villa Somalia the national flag was raised at midnight, followed by fireworks and the national anthem, celebrating the historic occasion.
