Dhusamareb, (SONNA) – The President of the Federal Government of Somalia, HE Hassan Sheikh Mohamud received the former Speakers of the Parliament of Somalia including, Mohamed Osman Jawari and other officials from the Southwest State of Somalia.
The officials came to encourage the Somali soldiers who are fighting the Al-Shabaab terrorists and briefed them on the political situation of the Southwest State to the President, and their opinions on the liberation of the country from the terrorist militants, showing solidarity with the brave local residents and the army.
The President also shared with the officials the victories of the army and the progress made to eradicate the terrorist militia who have caused pain and suffering to innocent people.
The officials included the former Speakers of Somalia, HE Mohamed Osman Jawari, HE Mohamed Mursal Sheikh Abdirahman, HE Sharif Sheikh Adan, former Director of the Presidential Palace, Hussein Sheikh Mohamud, former Senator Ilyas, and others.
