Mogadishu, (SONNA) — The President of the Federal Republic of Somalia, H.E. Hassan Sheikh Mohamud met with the General Manager of Mogadishu Port, Amb. Mohamed Ali Nur (Americo), who presented updates on ongoing operations and productivity at the port.
General Manager Americo briefed the President on the achievements made during his short tenure, noting that top priorities include transforming Mogadishu Port into one of the most advanced and high-quality ports in Africa.
President Hassan Sheikh commended the management and staff of Mogadishu Port for the significant progress made in increasing performance and positioning the port among the most efficient and successful in the region.
