Mogadishu, (SONNA) – The President of the Federal Republic of Somalia, H.E. Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, has received former Prime Minister Abdi Farah Shirdon at the Presidential Palace in Mogadishu as part of his ongoing national consultations with key Somali figures, including elders, leaders, and intellectuals.
The two discussed the current state of the country and emphasized the importance of strengthening state-building efforts. They also reaffirmed their shared commitment to the fight against terrorism and expressed full support for the Somali Armed Forces who continue to sacrifice their lives for the safety and stability of the nation.
