Addis Ababa, (SONNA) – The President of the Federal Republic of Somalia, H.E. President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud along with high-level delegation, arrived in Addis Ababa, the capital of Ethiopia, earlier today for an official visit.
The Somali delegation received a warm welcome from Ethiopian Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed, who extended the official invitation to President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud. The visit underscores the strengthening ties between the two neighboring countries.
During his visit, President Mohamud is scheduled to hold discussions with Ethiopian leaders, focusing on enhancing bilateral relations and advancing shared interests between Somalia and Ethiopia.
This trip follows the recent agreement reached in Ankara, which highlights a renewed era of cooperation between the two nations. The visit reflects a commitment to fostering mutual understanding and collaboration on regional and bilateral priorities.
