Washington DC, (SONNA)-The President of the Federal Government of Somalia, H.E Hassan Sheikh Mohamud met with his Kenyan and Ugandan counterparts H.E William Ruto and H.E Yoweri Museveni in Washington DC. on the sidelines of the US-Africa summit. The President briefed his counterparts on the situation in Somalia and the fight against Al-Shabaab terrorists and military progress made by the Somali National Army backed by local forces.
The Presidents of Uganda and Kenya praised the successes of the operations of the Government in the middle Shabelle and Hiiraan regions, showing the strength of the government and the people who want to eradicate the terrorists. They promised to continue supporting the government
