Beijing, (SONNA) – The President of the Federal Republic of Somalia, H.E Hassan Sheikh Mohamud was welcomed by the President of the People’s Republic of China, H.E Xi Jinping at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing to join other African leaders ahead of the 2024 Summit of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation (FOCAC).
The President is expected to attend the official opening of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation summit that will be launched by the President of the People’s Republic of China and other leaders to give their speeches.
President Xi and his wife held a banquet at the Great Hall of the People and hosted the leaders of Africa welcoming them to experience the Chinese culture and traditions.
