Mogadishu, (SONNA) – The Somali Police Force Commissioner, Major General Asad Osman Abdullahi conducted an inspection on Saturday evening of emergency response sites in Mogadishu where police forces are assisting residents affected by ongoing heavy rains and flooding.
During the visit, the Commissioner was joined by Banadir Regional Police Commander Macalin Mahdi, Deputy Governor for Security and Politics of Banadir Region Mohamed Ahmed Yabooh, and senior police officers. The officials met with personnel at the affected locations to assess the situation and oversee the response efforts aimed at supporting the flood-stricken communities in the capital.
