Laascaanood, (SONNA) – The Prime Minister of the Federal Government of Somalia, H.E. Hamza Abdi Barre, is set to lay the foundation stone for major development projects in SSC-Khatumo today, as part of his ongoing Unity Tour in the city of Laascaanood. The projects are seen as vital to the socio-economic progress of the region.
The Prime Minister and his delegation arrived in Laascaanood yesterday, the administrative capital of SSC-Khatumo, where they received a warm welcome. During his stay, Prime Minister Hamza is expected to hold a series of consultative meetings with local elders and officials from the SSC-Khatumo interim administration.
