New York, SONNA — Somalia’s Prime Minister Hamza Abdi Barre held a productive meeting with EU Special Representative for the Horn of Africa, Annette Weber, on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly in New York.
The talks focused on enhancing cooperation between Somalia and the European Union in key areas such as development, security, politics, and the economy. Both leaders also discussed the challenges facing the Horn of Africa, stressing the importance of joint efforts to promote peace and security in the region.
The European Union remains a crucial partner in Somalia’s path toward progress and stability.
