Mogadishu, (SONNA) — The Minister of Planning, Investment and Economic Development of the Federal Government of Somalia, H.E. Mohamud A. Sheikh Farah (Beenebeene), today met with Dr. Rukaya Mohammed, UN Women Somalia Country Programme Manager, to strengthen cooperation on Somalia’s National Transformation Plan (2025–2029).
Both sides agreed to align UN Women’s programmes with NTP priorities, enhance joint monitoring and evaluation (M&E), and integrate gender-disaggregated data with the Somali National Bureau of Statistics (SNBS) to accelerate and measure results for Somali women and girls.
