Mogadishu, (SONNA) – The Somali National Army killed more than 30 Al-Shabaab terrorists in an operation they conducted in Shabellow area in the southern Mudug region.
The operation destroyed the terrorist base and inflicted heavy losses on the terrorist militants.
One of the areas that the Somali Army destroyed was a place where the remnants of the Al-Shabaab militants used to hide.
The operation comes days before the Government plans to launch the second phase of the total war on the group fighters in the country.
SONNA learned and obtained more horrific photos from the battlefield, showing how the terrorist militants were defeated in today’s operation near Afgoye district in the same region.
