Mogadishu, SONNA – Brigadier General Asad Osman Abdullahi, the newly appointed Commander of the Somali Police Force, presided over the weekly Police Command meeting at the Somali Police Force Headquarters.
The meeting brought together top leaders, including those from the independent commissions and the General Division of the Police of Banadir Region. The primary agenda was to expedite the operations of the Somali Police Force and intensify efforts against Khawarij groups.
Brigadier General Abdullahi emphasized the urgency of enhancing security measures across the country, particularly in the capital, Mogadishu. He urged officers to accelerate their efforts to safeguard the lives, property, and dignity of Somali citizens.
The Commander’s directive emphasizes a renewed commitment to bolstering national security and addressing the persistent threats posed by extremist groups.
